Winyards Nick lies approx 1/2 way between Higger and Over Owler Tor and only consists of a small selection of gritstone but has a tremendous view down over the Hope Valley. It doesn't get photographed much so it was nice to be able to have some nice light to try and do it justice.
When I first arrived here there was quite a bit of cloud around so conditions looked fairly dull, the clouds were moving quite quickly though and it was clear around the horizon so I knew it would change when the sun dropped lower. This gave me plenty of time to search out the best compositions so I would be ready when the sun finally returned.
The change in the landscape when the sun came back was stunning with some lovley bursts of rich warm colour from the golden hour light.
