I was working a 12 hour day shift yesterday but with the sunrise very early at this time of year I was able to get out and shoot the sunrise and still get to work on time for a 6am start.
So I was up at 03:45 and made my way up onto Pindale to see if the sun was going to play ball and see if I was going to get a sunrise over the Cement Works.
It was quite cool which helped produce a little mist in the valley to add some atmosphere.
I shot one or two images as the sun came up and was just about to pack up my gear and head over to work when I was joined by several sheep so just had to capture this tranquil scene before I left.
