Yesterday morning with a decent forecast I decided to head out for the sunrise choosing Owler Tor a location that only required a short walk to get to. The temperature was minus 5 so it was a bit of a shock to the system leaving a warm bed to get there. Arriving at the location I could see some cloud drifting in and colour already developing so was feeling optimistic for some good conditions. I had a walk round looking for potential compositions then set up my camera, the frosted ground and rocks helped to highlight the textures while the sky turned wonderful shades of reds, oranges and pinks producing some lovely soft tones and a wonderful start to the day.
