I arrived about 45 minutes before the sunrise and set up ready to catch the spectacle, thick brooding clouds clung to the mountain tops but lighter areas allowed some colour to come through producing some really interesting and dramatic skies
It was about 30 minutes after the sunrise time before the sun actually showed itself but it was really worth the wait as it cast some lovely warm light over the stones, and the best bit was I got this all to myself.
