Wednesday morning I looked outside at 5am to see thick fog so decided to head over to Mam Tor for the sunrise. I arrived about 40 minutes before the sunrise to see a wonderful inversion completely filling the valley and just spent the first 10 minutes enjoying the spectacle before getting my camera out and set up. This was taken 10 minutes before the sunrise with some lovely pre dawn colour coming through.
