Yesterday morning I headed out for the sunrise and with it being a Bank Holiday ventured to High Neb on Stanage Edge as this is a lesser visited location so should be quiet (I didn’t see another soul). It’s a good pull to get up there and I arrived about 30 minutes before sunrise to clearing skies and bitterly cold temperatures. the sky had almost cleared of cloud when the sun broke the horizon, luckily there was still some around to add some colour to the sky to go with the golden light over the landscape.
