Monday morning I was up early and headed out for the sunrise, thick fog had filled the valley so was delighted when I rose above it as I climbed out of it. I had originally planned to go to the Roaches but when I saw the inversion in the valley I decided to go to the top of Winnats Pass. This was taken just after the sunrise, I loved the way the sun had turned the hills above the mist and the snow at my feet lovely shades of orange adding a bit of warmth to this winter scene.
