Monday morning I was up early and headed out for the sunrise, thick fog had filled the valley so was delighted when I rose above it as I climbed out of it. I had originally planned to go to the Roaches but when I saw the inversion in the valley I decided to go to the top of Winnats Pass. I arrived over an hour before the sunrise and was drawn to the car lights as they travelled up and down the pass and opted to shoot a long exposure so the lights became trails of light.
