Standing at the top of Cave Dale Peveril castle makes an imposing sight at any time but when it is seen rising above a sea of mist while catching the first golden rays of morning light it was absolutely stunning and made it a morning to remember. You can understand why the castle was built there as it would’ve been very difficult to breach and easy to defend.
