With a reasonable weather forecast predicted I decided to get up for the sunrise yesterday morning and headed up above Castleton to see how I would get on from the top of Winnats Pass. The wind was incredible as I made my way over the fields towards the pass that I was virtually blown off my feet but it was more than worth it as the pre dawn light was fantastic. I just loved the light falling on this stile so I stopped and set up my camera to capture it before I ruined the pristine snow that had fallen overnight.
