I had an impromptu trip up to Stanage Edge, it was snowing and visibility was down to a few hundred meters due to thick cloud and mist so I didn’t rate my chances of getting anything decent. Amazingly though after around 40 minutes the higher cloud slowly cleared away and I was left with an amazing view over the Hope Valley as the higher hills poked through the thick clouds sat on the valley floor.
