After shooting from the far end of Winnats Pass I made my way further along to my favourite vantage point which puts you onto the highest section of the pass, not the best place if like me you don't like heights but certainly worth it for the magnificent view over the Hope Valley. This was taken shortly before the sun broke the horizon when the pre sunrise colours was warming up the mist and giving a hint as to what would come. I love that tree on the hillside and the way it stands out contrasting against the sea of mist.
