As the afternoon drew on the skies thickened turning very grey and it looked like the chance of any light appearing for the sunset was very slim indeed. I was just about to get home and noticed a hint of brightness to some of the clouds so decided to nip up the Carhead on the off chance that it might break through.
I'm so pleased that I made the effort as within 15 minutes of arriving the sun started to break through. I liked the way the sun was lighting the trees which then contrasted nicely against the foreground rocks creating a lovely atmospheric image.
