Sunday evening was lovely with some great clouds flitting across the sky so I decided to make the most of it and get out for the sunset.
This was taken on the banks of Ladybower and I couldn't have wished for better conditions, the water was fairly still giving some lovely reflections of the sky with just the right amount of clouds to bring the sunset colours through. I chose to use a 6 stop ND filter to give the water a nice glassy sheen combined with a 3 stop reverse grad to balance the exposure. The midges were out in force as usual for here but I managed to ignore them only realising how much they'd attacked until I was driving home!!
