154. Misty dawn on Curbar Edge.

Saturday morning I looked out of the window at 04:30 to see thick fog so I just had to get out for the sunrise. My car was completely solid with ice with even the doors frozen stuck so it was a bit of a struggle getting in and defrosted. I drove through the valley at a crawl with the fog so thick you could only see a few yards ahead and kept my fingers crossed that I would get above it as I climbed up through Curbar towards the edge. I needn’t have worried as I drove up through the fog to find some stunning conditions so I headed quickly onto the edge with a big grin on my face. from Saturday mornings frosty start on Curbar Edge, I moved position facing away from the edge to capture this view over the rock strewn moorland towards the rising sun which was just about to appear on the horizon casting some wonderful orange and pink shades to the higher clouds.
