Tuesday evening I decided on a visit to Win Hill for the sunset, getting up there is a killer of a climb requiring a tricky 1000 ft climb up through Parkin Clough but once you reach the top that is all soon forgotten.
It was a lovely evening for it with just the right amount of cloud to generate some nice colours and combined with a stunning display of heather it was the perfect setting for the sunset. This is the view from Win Hill looking towards Lose Hill and Mam Tor as the sun went down behind Bleaklow casting some lovely warm light over the foreground rocks.
