After shooting Ritson’s force I made my way back down to Wasdale head and could see sheepdogs bringing down the sheep from the hills and spent a while watching the dogs do their magic round in them up, I realised that the sheep were coming my way and got myself in the perfect position to photograph them coming over the little packhorse bride, certainly in the right place at the right time to get one of my favourite images of my time in the Lake District.
