Wednesday evening I was out again after tea for the sunset, with the evenings drawing in rapidly now I had less than an hour to get to the location, find a composition and set up my camera to get my shots so it has to be very local to allow the time to do this. Luckily I have a few great places I can get to quickly choosing the view over Mitchell Field as my location. I was attracted to the rough grassy area at the top of the field as the light was backlighting the foliage creating a lovely contrast, this made an ideal foreground element for my composition with the fantastic view over Hathersage Dale and the Hope Valley. It is very boggy here and I was slowly sinking into the mud as I took this but certainly worth the soggy feet to get this shot!
