Tuesday evening I made the long walk up to the Salt Cellar with this shot in mind, walking over I could see the cloud building up so I knew time would be of the essence to get my shot before the sun dropped out of view. Luckily I made it with minutes to spare, the sun had gone behind the cloud but was still lighting up the landscape creating some stunning conditions and with the heather looking it’s best it was the perfect moment to capture the scene and certainly worth the 2.5 hours of walking for this single shot.
