It’s been a great week for photography especially after a prolonged and wet July and with the heather now reaching its best it’s been lovely to get out and photograph it. Thursday evening I headed over to Carl Wark for the sunset. There was quite a bit of cloud around initially (as well as flying ants out in droves) but by the time it got to sunset the skies had cleared enough to bring with it some good colour to finish off the evening. The rocks and heather in the foreground adds vibrant colour to the scene with the path on the right leading up to Higger Tor.
