Wednesday evening I made my way up onto Bamford Edge for the sunset, I could see on the walk over that the cloud on the horizon would limit the chance of seeing the sunset and by the time I arrived the sun was almost disappearing with only a few minutes of nice light left so I had to quickly make the most of it and get one or two images before it died. The heather up here is looking fantastic and made the perfect foreground to this composition with the view over Ladybower reservoir and the distinctive peak of Winhill bathed in some wonderful golden light
