Saturday evening I nipped up onto Millstone Edge for the sunset, there was quite a bit of cloud around but also very windy so it was just a case of waiting for it to blow the cloud around till the sun emerged through a gap to spread some golden light over the valley and it was lovely to see the newly flowering heather set off against a lovely colourful sky as the sun dropped below a distant Kinder Scout.
