Wednesday evening I headed out with the plan of doing some Owl hunting followed by a sunset, I arrived and parked up just as the rain hit so sheltered in the car until it had passed by, the advantage of a rain shower followed by the sun is the production of rainbows and I was treated to a lovely one stretching from Winyards Nick to Millstone Edge, I did see an owl but it was getting on for 1/4 mile away making it very small in the frame with the equivalent of 1025mm so I was pleased to get a shot of the rainbow instead.
