A short walk from Robin Hoods Stride are the Nine Stones Close stone circle or the ‘Gray Ladies’ of which only 4 remain, these are the largest standing stones in Derbyshire standing up to 2m tall and make a great subject to photograph. I headed here after shooting at Robin Hoods Stride arriving just in time for the sunset.
