It was hard the believe that there was heavy cloud, rain and sleet when I first arrived for the sunrise on Higger Tor as an hour later the sun had come out producing some lovely conditions which were improving by the minute. I dropped down from the top of Higger Tor to a lower level for this shot capturing the warm light from the sun on the gritstone rocks to the side of me.
