Last Wednesday I was up for the sunrise and was met by thick fog down in the valley so decided to head up onto Bamford Edge a location usually associated with sunsets. It’s a good steep walk up onto the edge and you are rewarded by great views over the valley I walked along Bamford Edge to the classic view over Ladybower reservoir. I had to wait a while after the sunrise for the sun to illuminate the foreground and kiss the tops of the hills on the opposite side of the valley while the mist clung to the lower levels.
