Friday afternoon with promising skies I went up onto Higger Tor for the sunset, very cold but hardly any wind and after all the recent rain very wet underfoot with lots of standing water so plenty of opportunities to shoot the puddles which I made as a subject of my compositions. As the sunset drew nearer the sky started to light up with a fantastic colourful display resulting in one of the best sunsets I’ve seen for a good while.
