Wednesday evening I first visited Eldon Hill quarry to take a few shots then when I had finished there we had about 30 minutes before the sunset so made a mad dash over to Mam Tor to capture it making it there just as the sun was setting. I didn’t have time to get to the top of Mam Tor so settled with a shot over the winding road down to Edale and finding an alternative composition using the stones on the path as a lead in. Really pleased I made it in time as the colour was spectacular.
