Thursday morning I was up early heading to Curbar Edge for the sunrise, when I got onto the edge there was just a light covering of mist down in the valley and thick cloud above me with the prospect of a nice sunrise looking doubtful, luckily by the time the sunrise arrived the conditions had completely reversed and as the sun broke the horizon the colours were stunning transforming the scene one moment and then the mist descending within minutes creating a great atmosphere as the sun backlit the mist.
