After being stuck in the house for what seemed like weeks due to the rubbish weather I decided I needed to get out and stretch my legs so yesterday afternoon with a bit of brightness in the sky I headed up above Hathersage not really expecting to get much. I finished up at Surprise View as the sun finally broke through and then spent an enjoyable hour watching the light change and the valley slowly fill up with fog, the sun disappeared into the cloud before the sun set but the afterglow was fantastic producing some stunning colours and a big grin on my face.
