After starting off the day with a frosty sunrise at the Roaches, I went over to 3 Shires Head to check out the autumn colour, walking down there the rain started and I arrived to it pouring it down, I spent the next couple of hours waiting for a break in the rain so we could get the classic shot of the packhorse bridge with the river Dane in full flow.
Luckily it cleared on a couple of occasions just long enough and even managed a bit of blue sky before the rain started again.
