Monday evening I had an errand to run up in Hope so I made most of it by combining it with a sunset just a bit further up the valley above Castleton. I headed up onto the hill above Mam Nick to capture the sun going down over the winding road into Edale. Unusually for Mam Tor it was calm and still rather than having to battle strong winds so the sunset was a relaxed gentle affair producing some nice colours and certainly worth making the diversion.
