With more fog forecast I was up early and up onto Winnats Pass yesterday morning ready for the sunrise. Walking over the fields towards the pass I could see the dawn colours already building up in the sky and with a full blown inversion in the valley I was buzzing with the promise of what was to come. I made my way halfway along the pass for the classic view over this limestone buttress just in time to capture the sunrise spreading its golden light over the frost covered foreground while valley froze under a thick blanket of fog.
