Yesterday morning I looked outside at 6am and could see a mix of cloud with a few stars peeking through so I decided to chance a sunrise heading over to Curbar Edge to try my luck. I arrived in the dark but could already see a bit of colour coming through along with a bit of nice mist down in the valley so I set up and watched the dawn break enjoying the changes of light as the sunrise drew nearer. I took this shot at sunrise looking over the rocks at Curbar towards Baslow Edge and Chatsworth sitting under a blanket of fog.
