Yesterday morning I looked out of the window at 05:30 and saw that it was foggy so I decided to head out for the sunrise. With all the rain we had on Saturday a had an inkling that the overflows on Ladybower would be running so made my way there, the water was indeed going down the‘plug holes’ and also the reservoir was shrouded in mist creating a wonderfully atmospheric scene. I took a couple of pictures of the overflows but it was the valve house that really caught my eye perfectly reflected over the misty water.
