Wednesday evening I had my second visit to this amazing poppy field near Baslow after going earlier in the week and having poor light. I arrived to thick grey clouds and initially didn’t look too promising but gradually the sky began to clear and the light started to improve until the sun finally burst through magnificently backlighting the flowers creating a stunning scene which was a delight to experience.
