With more fog forecast I was up early and up onto Winnats Pass yesterday morning ready for the sunrise. Walking over the fields towards the pass I could see the dawn colours already building up in the sky and with a full blown inversion in the valley I was buzzing with the promise of what was to come. Standing on the edge I was met with a glorious sight, stunning sunrise colours which were being reflected over the surface of the mist so I couldn’t believe my luck. This was taken from the top end of Winnats which gives you some lovely layering as you look down over the Hope Valley.
