For most of Sunday the weather was dreadful virtually raining nonstop all day but at around 16:30 the rain stopped and I could see a clear band on the horizon so I grabbed my camera and nipped up onto Stanage to stretch my legs and see what might develop. It was pretty grey for the first 40 minutes but as the sun dropped nearer towards sunset colour started to come through flooding the area with rich warm light.
