Tuesdays visit to Win Hill, the sunset passed without showing itself being buried behind thick grey clouds but we decided to hang around in the off chance the something would develop later. Gradually a little colour started to show through and then within a few minutes the whole sky became a vibrant display of pinks, oranges and reds beautifully complimenting the heather clad moorland. This was the view from the far end of Win Hill pike looking down towards Lose Hill and Mam Tor ridge. It more than made up for the hard climb and decent back down Parkin Clough in the dark.
