I had set up my tripod for choosing a nice bunch of heather in the immediate foreground, the lichen covered gritstone edge and distant views over Higger Tor and the Hope Valley. The dark clouds and emerging sun created some lovely dramatic light and shade, a wonderful time to be out in the hills.
