Friday evening I went up onto Stanage for the sunset, there was just the right amount of cloud around so I could tell that the sunset would likely be a good one. I set my tripod up on the edge with a stunning view over the Hope Valley ready for the sunset and spent the remaining time enjoying the company of thousands of midges which seemed very interested in having me for supper. It was certainly worth it for the sunset which was lovely.
