After a night of snow I was out for the sunrise meeting up with Rob for an ascent up the north face of Winnats pass. It was a very steep tricky climb as the path had sheets of ice underneath the snow so we had to be really careful getting up to the top. The sunrise itself didn't materialise due to a thick layer of cloud but the sun still managed to push a little colour through, it was bitterly cold and very windy but certainly made the effort to get up here worthwhile.
