Saturday was a lovely day so I made the most of the evening light and went up onto Over Owler Tor to check out the heather and shoot the sunset. I was only up here about 1.5 weeks ago and was amazed to see much the heather has come on in that time, it really is looking stunning now. This was the view looking from Over Owler Tor over the Hope Valley and I just loved the contrast between the swathes of heather and rich greens of the bracken illuminated by the setting sun.
