I've been driving down the road past Stanage these last couple of weeks and have been admiring the wonderful displays of foxgloves growing on the moors so decided that I must return one evening to capture them during a sunset.
I arrived just as the sun disappeared and spent the next couple of hours watching the dark clouds roll over with not a sign of any sun.
The time for sunset passed and I was on the verge of packing up when out of nowhere a small amount of colour started to appear then gradually the whole sky lit up with vibrant pinks and oranges lasting just a few minutes but making the last 2 hour wait well worthwhile.
