Another really interesting night on Saturday for some more light painting with a visit to Magpie mine in Derbyshire.
It's a good location with some really interesting features and I had a great time light painting various structures and buildings.
This was my favourite shot of the night taken with my fisheye lens at ground level.
It was lit with a combination of a pixel whip and LED torch.
I used my cameras 'Live Time' function so I could monitor the progress during the 6 minute exposure, checking on the back of the camera as the image built up while the shutter was open completely taking out the guesswork and producing something quite unique and surreal.
