At the time the conditions were somewhat grey and overcast with a bit of light drizzle but I thought it would be worth a chance.
I got up on top of the moor and things didn't look that promising but then out of nowhere a sudden burst of sun came through the clouds producing some glorious intense light bringing out some beautiful rich colours in the sky and landscape, it lasted for all of 3 or 4 minutes and then it was gone but it was absolutely stunning while it lasted and luckily I managed to come away with one or two shots so it made it all worthwhile.
