I arrived in the dark about an hour before sunrise and could just make out a hint of colour in the sky above Bamford Edge so was smiling to myself thinking it might actually be quite nice when it gets nearer to the sunrise.
Quite nice was a bit of an understatement, the sky gradually lit up with one the most amazing display of colours that I've seen for a long time made all the better by being reflected off the still surface of Ladybower, I couldn't have asked for anything better.
