I was looking to capture the sun rising over Ladybower but with an ever thickening fog it wasn't going to be possible, the only option was to get up higher and shoot above it. I had to make a mad dash and get to the summit of Crook Hill to capture this image as the sun finally shines through the bank of fog producing some lovely soft pastel tones. Hard work but well rewarding.
