The afternoon sky was fairly devoid of clouds with just a few fluffy cumulus floating around but as the afternoon drew on towards the golden hour layers of cloud steadily built up creating some ideal conditions, someone had also lit a fire down in the valley which added to the atmosphere.
I took this shot just a few minutes before the sunset of one of the photographers on my photography workshop making the most of the soft evening light as the sun gently set over the Hope Valley.
