41. Yorkshire Bridge panoramic
41. Yorkshire Bridge panoramic

I finally managed to get out for a while yesterday and went looking for some early autumn colours. I went up to Yorkshire Bridge to capture the small waterfall up there on the river Derwent. There was plenty of water running over the waterfall and some lovely rich greens in the trees and moss covered rocks plus a few bronzes amongst the fallen leaves. For this shot I did it as a panoramic shooting 5 separate images using a polarising filter to enrich the colours and remove the surface reflections, a soft grad to balance the brightness from the sky and a 6 stop ND to extend the exposure and soften the water. I also found out how slippery those moss covered rocks were taking an early bath and ending up sitting in the river!!
